About us

6:12 theatre Teechers

6:12 is a small scale theatre company with an interest in contemporary, narrative and absurdist theatre.

We formed in 2006 and produce plays which will challenge both our audiences and our actors - mentally, physically and vocally.

We perform in Harrogate Theatre Studio; an intimate and adaptable 60 seat capacity performance space, which allows us to bring the audience up-close to and at times in amongst the action.

In recent years we have explored the world of devised theatre creating our own, highly acclaimed, adaptations of the classic gothic horror story  "Frankenstein", Sophocles' tragedy, "Antigone" and in 2014 "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare.

2016 was our tenth anniversary and we were delighted that actor/performer Guy Masterson gave us exclusive permission to perform his version of "Animal Farm".

2017 gave us one of our most financially successful productions with Marie Jones' "Stones in his Pockets".

2018 will see us move in another direction. More on this to follow!

Tickets will be on sale from Harrogate Theatre box office - see Current Projects for more details.
